Opportunity: Locale is a destination marketing firm that facilitates strategic partnerships between corporate sponsors and destination venues. Facing greater competition from a fast-growing market, they needed a bold identity that reflected their forward-thinking approach.
The Change: To create a dynamic branding system, we sought to keep things simple but well-polished with friendly, clean typography and a memorable icon. The chevron mark points upward to signify growth and opportunity but is used flexibly with branded materials for emphasis. A dynamic wordmark logo is used for various applications across multiple client touchpoints where the letters are often stacked. A dynamic system of colors and illustrations supports the brand identity through presentations and printed materials.
Impact: Since launching, Locale has signed new contracts totaling more than ten million dollars and has landed such prestigious clients as London Heathrow Airport, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Museum, Louisiana Department of Transportation, Sacramento Theater and Convention Center, and The City of Chicago (to name a few).
