Challenge: The Story Is is a video production company specializing in creating compelling visuals and stories for their clients. Working with a wide variety of clients from Proctor and Gamble to Publix, we wanted to create a unique mark that would help their potential clients see their approach was carefully crafted and visually stunning.
Solution: The Story Is stands apart from other video studios in their market due to their highly conceptual storytelling process. We realized that an icon-based brand would easily become lost in the noise of overused solutions like film rolls and play arrows. In developing a hand-lettered typographic brand identity, we could give them a unique look and voice that didn’t feel like an off-the-shelf solution. We balanced the brand identity mark with clean typography for greater readability. Business cards and video swipes were overlaid with the brand identity to show elements that highlight their creative storytelling.
